Origin of Letterbox
The Condo
Letterbox Doughnuts was born in the summer of 2020 to help friends and family celebrate special occasions during the pandemic.

Initially, we were making donuts for family and friends out of our condo, but as word got out, demand started to grow. Before we knew it, we were inundated with requests, and we officially launched our business in August.
January 2021
We're Going Commercial
The Beverly Hotel
In January of 2021, four months after officially launching we moved into our first commercial kitchen space, taking over some of the Beverly Hotel.
This allowed us to hire our very own baking team and delivery drivers to meet the growing demand. It was a great way for us to learn about what a real bakery business was all about, and most importantly it allowed us to help more people celebrate!
October 2021
Living by Ourselves
Chinatown Bakery
In October of 2021 we had outgrown our space in the Beverly Hotel and moved into our own storefront, which we are still in today!
In the summer of 2022 we opened up the storefront. After several months, we made the hard choice to shut down the storefront - which taught us a valuable lesson: our product isn’t donuts, it’s celebrating people and emphasizing what makes them special, unique and loved, through our customizable treats!
2023 & Beyond
Creating More WOW Moments
More Celebrations
2023 is all about more celebrations and creating more WOW moments! More WOW calls for more products and we’ve been busy introducing more ways to celebrate. Our new products include ring donuts, filled donuts, donut decorating workshops, DIY Kits, and donut walls!

On top of these new products we kicked off fun initiative called Creator Flavours, working with local Creators and businesses to create limited edition flavours, inspired by the Creator and what they love!
​
We are also making it a priority this year to help those less fortunate. We will run a range of initiatives and campaigns, including Pay It Forward giveaways and donation matching.

Thanks to our amazing team and customers we've been able to expand our business, offer new products and continue to grow. We can't wait for the next chapter and hope that you continue to stick by our side!
